Pigeon Versus Statue is whipping itself into a frenzy about the imminent release of Ned Collette + Wirewalker’s new album, ‘Over The Stones, Under The Stars’ on November 17th via Dot Dash/ iTunes.
‘Come Clean’ is the first single off the record and you can see the Natalia van den Dungen-directed video shot in Leipzig, Germany here:
Pigeon Versus Statue loves a healthy dose of Shoe-gazing and UK outfit, Engineers do it better than just about anyone. It’s been 5 years since the release of their internationally acclaimed eponymous debut but good things come to those who wait. Engineers new album, Three Fact Fader is a blistering clash of swirling guitars and gorgeously dreamy harmonies. If Slowdive, Ride, Chapterhouse and My Bloody Valentine are your weapons of choice, your new love affair starts right here…
Australian duo, The Black Ryder (Aimee Nash and Scott Von Ryper) create sublimely dark blends of churning, layered guitars and sweetly hypnotic vocals washed with a 50’s stint of unrequited love. The album is being prepared for an international release but in the meantime, they’ve created the haunting, No Country For Old Men-infused video to the single, Sweet Come Down.
Art vs Science isn’t here to get a haircut. They’re here to melt your mind!
They’re also here to remind us that creating dance music is not just about bass-blowing electro-rock anthems (of which they have many); rather it’s about taking those songs and in a live forum setting everyone’s fire-retardant dancing kicks ablaze. If you walk away from an Art vs Science live show without an altered gait and/ or state-of-mind, you were clearly not paying attention.

Pigeon Versus Statue’s favorite line in the interview is Decoder Ring’s description of their live show as being like, “Stanley Kubrick and Brian Eno on peyote watching My Bloody Valentine playing at a rave in slow motion”. Gold…
