Engineers – New Video, “In Praise of More”

Engineers 2009 album, ‘Three Fact Fader” received tremendous critical acclaim both here and in their native, U.K..

In the time between the release of the last album and the new offering, “In Praise of More”, Engineers have had a couple of line up changes (most notably, the addition of Ulrich Schnausse who is currently in the U.S. touring with Chapterhouse).

Though a U.S. release date is yet to be confirmed, the title-tracked new single will no doubt, wet your appetite.

Canvas Kites – Wayside

Check out this little golden gem from Sydney-siders, Canvas Kites. With its clash of jangly guitars and stylishly edited video, this outfit is definitely a contender for the ‘Band With Swagger’ award for 2010. Pop perfection.

Having recently relocated to London, the band have started work on their next collection of recordings under a new monicker.

Fire! Santa Rosa, Fire! Reviewed at Static Multimedia!

The good folk over at Static Multimedia have come out guns blazing in their review of ‘Sea Priest’, the new album from Fire! Santa Rosa, Fire!. The album which has been out in their native Australia for a few months was recently made available stateside via iTunes.

In the review Static Multimedia says, “…The result is a batch of songs that are danceable but can hold significant interest for guitar nerds as well”.

What more could one ask for?
